There are a few clarifications to be made on slide 20.

  1. ASB connectivity through AMQP requires ports 5671, 5672, AND 443. The documentation is missing port 443. The respective Doc Change has been accepted as Bug by the Documentation team.
  2. RabbitMQ requires either 5671 OR 5672 (depending on whether it is SSL-enabled or not), but not both ports.

Hi Abbie,

How do we get notified of all upcoming webinars?
I know I can find them at https://thycotic.com/community/webinars-2/
But is there a way to get notified whenever a new upcoming webinar is scheduled?

Hi Leon! Thycotic Shorts aren’t webinars but live training sessions with the support team. We post the link to the training on the Thycotic Shorts Channel. For the Thycotic webinars, I can add you to the list. I will message you directly when you are added.

Hey Abbie,
I’m not sure all the shorts are training Sessions. I was just watching one for LB and the guy on the Short was saying the user should open a ticket for support. Anyway can add me to the Thycotic webinars?

Thanks

RichPo

An important difference between Cloud and On-premise installations: on a cloud instance of Secret Server, PowerShell scripts will run on the distributed engine. If you have more than one DE, it is critical to ensure they are configured identically, otherwise, you may find scripting randomly failing if it is successful on one DE but not on others.

Hi @kaspars - I think we may have been experiencing a glitch when you posted. There is a video in place again. Apologies as I think some of the disappearing act may be due to the migration work. Let me know if you are still unable to see it.
