Miss the session? These were some of the wonderful questions from our January 13th Platform Upgrade Office Hours:
Question #1 : Concerns about API functionality during migration, especially regarding identity management and Active Directory sync.
Answer: APIs related to folders and secrets should continue to work. However, APIs concerning user creation, group assignment, or role assignment will need to be adjusted to work with the Platform. Active Directory sync will be managed by the Platform, which has a 10-minute sync interval.
Potential add-on: after the platform upgrade is complete, disable the user synchronization in secret server cloud directory services.
Question #2: Can users authenticate to both Secret Server and Platform after migration?
Answer: Yes, users can log into both unless the "Force Platform only login" setting is enabled. There is no planned date to enforce Platform-only logins.

Question #3: Issues with Duo integration after migration.
Answer: Platform uses Duo differently than Secret Server, requiring a web SDK setup. The existing Secret Server integration won't work, and a new configuration is needed.

Question #4: Concerns about SDK users during migration.
Answer: SDK users are complex, but application accounts using Active Directory will soon be supported in the Platform. Changes to user creation, group membership, or role assignment need to be made in the Platform.
Question #5: Web Password Filler vs. Credential Manager post-migration.
Answer: Web Password Filler will still work, but Credential Manager is recommended for better functionality.
Question #6: Concerns about Imprivata integration using application accounts.
Answer: The integration should continue to work as application accounts will still exist.
Question #7: SSO enterprise application in Azure AD for Platform, should we use the existing one working with Secret Server Cloud or create a new one?
Answer: A new enterprise application is recommended for the Platform due to URL changes.
