The new Delinea Platform Certification Program is LIVE. Three tiers, each offered in three areas of focus for a total of nine certification options let you and your team earn certification for the specific level at which you work and for the specific product(s) you work in.

Our new certification tiers

• Guard — self-paced, no prerequisites, and an online exam. This tier is entirely free.
• Sentinel — for the people who operate, administer, and maintain the platform day to day
• Vanguard — for the people who install, configure, and troubleshoot the platform

Three areas of focus within each tier

• Visibility — discover and vault accounts and secrets
• Posture — assess and reduce identity risk
• Control — enforce privileged access and session control

How to get certified

Our training team recommends you start with Guard certification in the area of your choice. To do so, simply find it in Delinea University.

The Sentinel and Vanguard certifications will build on Guard in the same area and add a hands-on practical component. Both the Sentinel and Vanguard level are purchased certifications, so connect with your Delinea representative to learn more about purchasing these options for your team.

What a certification delivers

Every certification earns a credential valid for two years, a digital certificate, and a badge you can share on LinkedIn. Delinea STRONGLY recommends that our customers have at least one certified admin for each product area to help make the best possible config, policy, and use decisions for their unique use cases.
