Thanks for your input on Platform's new reporting capabilities

Hi from Delinea’s UX team!

In our most recent research project, we wanted to understand how those of you who are admins would use the Platform's new reporting capabilities, identify where the biggest pains points were, and get a clear picture of how reporting fits into your day-to-day work.

We want to thank everyone who participated in this research with us (shout out to @ssummers, @jgordon, @mbrink, and@sam.a!). These conversations have allowed us to:

  • Understand what reports are used for: the questions that they help answer, the actions that they enable, and how they fit into your daily tasks.
  • Introduce more detail and navigation options into the data that reports show you, so you can quickly get to the information you care about and act on it.
  • Improve the report creation process. So you can focus on the data that you're getting and acting on it instead of finding the report that you need for it.
  • Make sharing a report a clearer and therefore safer process.

Thanks again to everyone who participated!

If you’re interested in working with my team to advise us at the most technical levels, we have two upcoming research projects we’d love this community to participate in!

  1. For those of you using Connection Manager, check out a live effort here.
  2. If you’re a Delinea Platform admin, help us develop our v2 Delinea Expert tool.
