Hi Delinea community!
I am a member of our Platform Design and UX team. I’m excited to share that over the coming months we are hoping to talk directly with many of you in different ways to inform our design decisions.
We started last month by meeting with a few of you to discuss policy creation in the Delinea platform. A huge thank you to those of you who talked with me 1-1. Your input was so helpful, and I wanted to share what we heard and how we’re using it back with this community.
The input and advice was been presented directly to our design, product, and engineering teams.
These are some of the things that we were able to identify, share internally, and are now actively working on thanks to the feedback that was provided:
- Selecting an access policy template should be easy, and the information that is displayed at the beginning should guide you, not overwhelm you. We're actively working on redesigning this first step to make it easier for you to start creating the policies that you need.
- The way that we displayed information about when policies were active was deemed as confusing, so we're redesigning how we show this information so that you never have to second guess when and if an access policy is truly active and working as intended.
- With your help we were able to identify several areas in the policy creation process that were causing friction. We're currently taking that feedback and using it to guide our efforts to make this process as simple and clear as possible. Expect these changes to come soon.
