What capabilities should our team be working with to secure endpoints?
Depending on the type of endpoint you’re looking to secure -- servers, workstations, or the cloud – and for whom, you’ll probably be using one of the following solutions:
- Server Suite – an on-premises solution to secure your servers
- Privileged Control for Servers (PCS) – a platform solution to secure your servers
- Privilege Manager for workstations
- Privileged Control for Cloud Entitlements to enforce least standing privilege across public cloud environments
What does good look like?
This set of products relies more than any of our others on good cross functional relationships between security teams, the teams managing the endpoint(s) in question, and the end users who are seeking privileged access. Ensure that you think across siloes and seek stakeholder feedback when setting policies and set up a good way for users to communicate feedback so that the security team can rethink policies as necessary.
