If you are getting ready to implement either Identity Threat Protection or Iris AI’s auditing, analytics, & alerting (or both!), we are excited for you – these are massive steps in risk reduction for your organization.
To clarify:
- ITP is a product that takes discovery (like CID) quite a few steps further with anomaly detection, contextual risk scoring, automated response, and proactive remediation.
- Iris AI Authorization and Auditing is a platform capability that you can choose to enable with features such as automated access approvals and session auditing. For example, Iris Authorization can automatically approve or deny access requests based on risk analysis, user behavior, and policy alignment, or recommend actions for human review.

Prepare the team
Identifying risk and sending alerts requires that you know what you’re looking for and who needs to know when those abnormalities are found. Work with your team up through executive leadership to determine:
- Who needs to know about specific types of issues
- What action should they take upon receiving particular information
- What remediation actions does your organization want to automate with your Delinea solutions?
These answers will help you configure the capabilities to meet your needs. We’ll explore that configuration in the next section.
