Hey all! Your friendly Renewals leader here at Delinea. As we close in on the end of the year, @brigid.colver (who heads up Secret Society) asked me to go over guidance for renewing early to avoid the holiday rush. She was right to tap me on the shoulder -- we process an extremely high volume of both renewals and new business transactions in the final month of the year. Of course, this is also a time when many of our contacts at companies like yours and many of our own staff are taking well-deserved time off to spend with their families during the last two weeks of the year. If your organization has any renewing products this quarter and wants to avoid the holiday madness, read on.We are working to get ahead of as many year end and early Q1 renewals as possible and are prepared to work with you to process renewals early. Doing so will ensure your organization avoids…working on procurement during the holiday rush the risk of non-compliance or gaps in coverage if the renewal is delayed th

We’ve had a request from our Product Management team for input. Would any of you -- our fine community members -- be interested in connecting directly with a member of the PM team to discuss use cases and interests? This will be especially relevant for cloud or platform customers. Feel free to comment here or private message me if you’re interested in sharing your PoV. Here’s the ask from our team member: I’m one of the Product Managers on the Privileged Control for Cloud Entitlements and Identity Threat Protection team (fka Authomize), currently working on our upcoming integration with Active Directory (AD). My objective is to gather insights on what might be of particular interest to Delinea customers regarding this integration. Would it be possible to connect with one or two customers to discuss potential use cases for this integration?

Along with a plethora of pumpkin spice lattes and profusion of glorious mums, Halloween is bearing down upon us: At the moment, I’m envisioning security wizards – and sorceresses - with crystal balls trying to figure out how to protect their organization from the gremlins that are trying to compromise their cloud environments. Even though we’ve come a long way over the years, the enduring question of how to establish and maintain identity security in cloud environments remains – even as goblins trying to penetrate the cloud. Let’s take a quick look at how things were, and how things are going.  Where we’ve been …and where we are todayScene: 5 years ago. A customer user group meeting. Hello Secret Society! As we’ve shared prior, in just one month, we will transition to a new customer community experience. Why the change? The new site will allow: more robust content and communications: articles, operational guidance, event registration, best practice sharing, product roadmap updates Improved search and categorization to help you more easily find and create relevant content – this has become especially important as Delinea products and use cases expand. Better alignment with accessibility standards A cleaner look and feel and reduced bugginess (is it just me?) Threaded conversations Integration with Delinea’s support portal What to expect We are super excited to launch this new experience, but there will be many changes. A few in particular to be aware of: Look and feel - The entire look and feel of the site will shift. We will provide live virtual walk-throughs as well as on-demand videos to ensure you are able to easily navigate the new experience. Challenges - T

Hi all - Many of us are experiencing challenges loading the Delinea Shorts videos – It seems like the video functionality has been very glitchy across the site. I’m testing and finding that if I navigate to the Delinea Shorts category and choose an article they load ok. We will be transitioned to a new platform with steadier functionality in just a few weeks but I am very sorry for the challenges in the interim. Lmk if there are any in particular you still cannot load and need to watch and I’ll find the direct Vimeo links. Thank you for your patience!

With Robert seemingly no longer here, how do we contact someone in charge? The “message admins” option still takes you to his account.

Is remote access keeping you up at night? 😱. It’s keeping @leslie.wiggins up, too. So – to our benefit – she wrote all her thoughts about it here. We hope you enjoy! (Especially all the Tom Cruise references…) Risky Business: Securing remote access in the era of hybrid work In the epic 1983 Tom Cruise movie, Risky Business, the tagline is “There’s a time for playing it safe and a time for risky business.” Today, in a world that requires secure remote access capabilities more than ever before, this is definitely the time to play it safe. In the post-pandemic world, the landscape of how employees, business partners, supply-chain vendors, auditors, and other folks work with your organization – and access sensitive systems and data from outside the ‘walls’ of your organization – has dramatically changed. The need for remote access has surged, and the different types of remote access needed have increased significantly: This has created a larger attack surface and generates conside

We heard from a number of June office hours attendees that you wanted more info about the Delinea platform and our broader focus on identity. In response, our head of Customer Marketing, @leslie.wiggins wrote the following piece to set the stage for why we’re moving in a platform direction and in a few weeks, we’ll follow up with a webinar featuring our Product Manager @justin.harris. Let us know what else you want to know about this overarching shift toward Identity Access Management (IAM). IAM is hot: How to stay cool and help your business think ahead For years, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) has captured and held most of the C-level and business attention when it comes to cybersecurity. However, the landscape has been changing - business environments have been transforming and shifting to cloud and hybrid environments, remote work and remote access by 3rd-party vendors have become the norm, and attackers have grown savvier and more focused – shifting to the highe

We are excited to share that our Delinea community will be moving to a new platform over the coming months! Our current platform is called Influitive, and we will move to Gainsight, a community provider that is more optimized to this audience (tech and SaaS customers) and our goals for connection (education, support, updates and guidance). What this means for you: Nothing will change immediately, as the Delinea team works on the migration plan In late September, we will cut over from the Influitive platform You can expect a very different look and feel in the new community We will share specifics as the work gets underway, including any anticipated changes to login flow, points management, and branding. For now, though, I’d love to hear if there are things you love about the current Secret Society or things you’d love to see change. Feel free to comment, or to message me directly.

Hi Society of Secret Keepers! I recently joined Delinea and will be managing this site along with other programming that helps you succeed with all things identity, authorization and governance. I’d love to meet as many of you as possible in the weeks ahead to learn about your experiences with the Secret Society and our customer advocacy and customer empowerment programming. Understanding what you like, don’t like, and want to see will help us build our strategy. Please DM me if you’re willing to connect and we can find time. In the interim, please bear with me as I get my sea legs as some things (reward fulfillments, answers to questions, etc.) may take a bit longer than you’re used to and challenges may look a bit wonky from time to time! Don’t hesitate to reach out directly if you need something. I’m looking forward to getting to know this group and hopefully having some fun.

How do I send an email to a Secret Society Admin?? I have a issue with a reward I tried to claim and need some help please…

Hi, Do we have an option to create Event Subscription/Event Pipeline Policy for local account password expiry notification in Secret Server Cloud platform? I believe its missing in the current version?

This may not be the right place for this topic, but I don’t know where else to put it. My question is to whom and how can I send feedback for the Delinea.com website if it appears that certain information is not correct on the website?
